ISPT takes action against modern slavery

We’ve collaborated with leading property organisations to develop an online platform that helps combat modern slavery.

Teaming up against modern slavery

We’re working with the Property Council of Australia and a consortium of 14 PCA members on the new platform, which allows easy evaluation against the requirements of the Modern Slavery legislation.

Alicia Maynard, General Manager of Sustainability & Technical Services says

“Human rights and labour practices are key considerations within our approach to responsible investment, and we want to partner with our suppliers to understand, educate and help improve our supply chains.

We believe socially and environmentally sustainable companies create long-term investment value, and we’ll be working with suppliers and business partners who have fair, equitable and ethical work practices.”

Our involvement in the platform follows our work as a founding member of the Cleaning Accountability Framework (CAF), a game-changing ethical cleaning certification scheme launched in April 2019.
