405 Bourke recognised for incredible design work

405 Bourke Street, Melbourne, co owned by Brookfield Properties and ISPT, has won the Sir Osborn McCutcheon Award for Commercial Architecture at the Victorian Australian Institute of Architects Awards.

The judges praised the Woods Bagot design as it “achieves a beautiful resolution to the challenges and priorities of a value-orientated commercial development brief with a precise economy of structure, energy efficient services and deftness in material craft.”

Nicole Ward, General Manager, Commercial Services at ISPT said:

“The Award recognises the difficult attributes of the 405 Bourke site, and how the team overcame those to deliver a truly inspiring building. ISPT extends our thanks and congratulations to all our partners”.
