George Place, Sydney, lobby launch
The George Place redevelopment, in Sydney, has unveiled the dramatic transformation of its new, supersized and unified lobby.
A dynamic redesign has united the ground floor levels of three buildings, 363 & 345 George Street and 24 York Street, with amenities of the highest quality. Original, Indigenous artworks, premium quality, inspired design, soft furnishings, natural materials and lighting provide a welcoming and dynamic environment to work in and enjoy.
The lobby offers a choice of meeting spaces, quiet zones, social hubs and food and bar offerings. It will also be an active space supporting a range of events.
General Manager, Development Services, Chris McCluskey said the technically challenging redesign has opened up and connected the precinct. Customer’s reactions and feedback has been overwhelmingly positive. “The George Place lobby will be the heart of the precinct and its community. The centralised lobby for George Place reflects our strategy of delivering to the highest quality while creating truly memorable places.” he said.
