New partnership promotes a more ethical property services industry

The Property Council of Australia (PCA) and the Cleaning Accountability Framework (CAF) have teamed up to champion ethical treatment of cleaners and reduce exploitation in the property services supply chain.

As a member of the PCA, and a founding member of CAF since its inception in 2012, ISPT is pleased to be supporting two organisations promoting industry-wide change and taking tangible steps towards a sustainable and ethical future for the property services industry. The partnership will focus on education and advocacy to members and the wider business community.

Alicia Maynard, General Manager of Sustainability & Technical Services said

“Respect for human rights and ethical labour practices is a priority for ISPT and a key part of our ESG Strategy, so we’re thrilled to support this partnership and the importance it places on social sustainability. As property owners, it’s crucial we adopt and encourage this positive shift in industry mentality – one that puts cleaners’ rights at the heart of the cleaning supply chain.”

ISPT is committed to eliminating modern slavery in our business dealings and positively impacting the livelihoods of workers and stakeholders across our supply chains. To read more about our work with CAF, click here.
